In an electrically insulating material environment, when the electric field exceeds a limit value called "dielectric strength" or "disruptive field” a phenomenon called "breakdown" occurs. Breakdown generally leads to the degradation and destruction of solid insulation.
Technical polymers (e.g. ETFE, Rilsan™), (reinforced) silicones and ceramics are dielectric materials with few free charges and are therefore very good electrical insulators. They are applicable on complex concave, convex and, depending on the type of coating, inside tubes with different thicknesses according to your insulation requirements.
Application examples:
• Electroplating installation elements
• Electronic components for sensors etc.
• Miscellaneous electronic systems
